Nothing quenches the thirst better than a tall, ice cold glass of tea. The addition of a little flavoring with a touch of sweetness makes tea that much better.
Flavored teas you make at home are far superior to anything in the store, canned for bottled.
Here’s how to make really good flavored iced tea in a minute without boiling water or heating the kitchen: To a tall glass 3/4 full of cold water add enough (unsweetened) instant powdered tea to suit your taste. Stir in 1.5 to 2 ounces Raspberry Espresso Syrup and fill glass with ice cubes. A standard bar jigger is 1.5 ounces. 2 ounces equals 1/4 cup or 4 tablespoons.
That’s it. Sit back and enjoy!
Of all the different flavors we served at Cozy Cafe, Raspberry was by far, the most popular iced tea.
Espresso syrups are sold in larger grocery stores but are usually cheaper in restaurant supply stores.
For those desiring less sugar, most flavors come in sugar-free varieties.
