Now that cooler weather is upon us and our thoughts turn to hot cocoa as we rake Autumn leaves, here is a simple, 3-ingredient dinnertime treat.
There is nothing quite like the taste of hot cocoa. Here is an easy recipe that captures that distinctive flavor in a pudding dessert that’s ready to eat in the time it takes you set the table.
2 cups cold milk (I used 1% but any milk will do).
1 package hot cocoa mix
1 box instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 ounces)
Get your bowls ready, this will begin setting up while you are whisking or mixing. Pour immediately into individual ramekins or other small bowls.
Serve with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream. Dust lightly with powdered cocoa if desired.
