About 1/4 to 1/3 cup cottage cheese, mayo, flaked, drained tuna, celery, cucumber and quartered yellow cherry tomatoes. Add more or less chopped stuff if more or less is needed. Add S&P and mix thoroughly. The smaller the cuts the more goodies you can stuff inside.
Mix everything in a large bowl, adding salt & peppers as desired.
Using a tomato shark, remove all the juice, seeds and most of the membranes to make room for the filling.
A bowl of salty pretzels is a welcome addition to this chilled mid-summer dish.
NOTE; minced salmon, shrimp, surimi, crab or lobster can be substituted for tuna.
Lemon pepper works wonders, as does seasoned salt.
